The next application deadline for grants from the Alcohol Education and Research Fund is the 5th September 2007. The main aims of the Fund, which is administered by the Alcohol Education and Research Council, are to increase the capacity of individuals and organisations to deal with alcohol issues and also to develop the evidence base. Two types of projects will be considered. The first will be rigorous research projects that focus upon improving the evidence base. The second will aim to develop people and organisations.
