The Chelsea Building Society Charitable Foundation has announced that its annual funding round has opened. Grants of between £250 and £5,000 are available for projects working with homeless, disadvantaged, vulnerable or socially excluded people, all forms of disability, health, self-help and voluntary groups. To be eligible, projects must be within a 10 miles of a Chelsea Building Society branch office. The Foundation is particularly keen to support community based charities where small donations can make a difference to local people's lives. The closing date for applications is the 21st September 2007.
